Control Standard Endotoxin is referenced against the USP Reference Standard Endotoxin following the procedures set forth in the "Guideline on Validation of the Limulus Amebocyte Lysate Test as an End-Product Endotoxin Test for Human and Animal Parenteral Drugs, Biological Products and Medical Devices".

N186 is intended for use as the control standard endotoxin in PYROGENT? Gel Clot assays.  N185 contains high potency endotoxin and is intended for use in endotoxin removal system challenges, i.e. depyrogenation ovens, and other spiking studies.  E50-640 is intended for use with QCL-1000? assays and contains E. coli strain 0111:B4.

Tris buffer is to be used in place of water as the sample diluent for highly acidic or basic samples (samples and sample dilutions should be between pH 6-8).  Tris buffer may be used to prepare samples for any of our endotoxin detection assays.  Contains <0.005 EU/ml endotoxin.

These tips are to be used when testing with any of our LAL systems. The tips are certified to contain <0.001 EU/ml endotoxin. The new design of the tips allows more flexibility with different pipettors.
